Attorney Miranda Weiss earns Florida Bar Board certification

Estate Planning attorney Miranda Weiss has earned The Florida Bar board certification in Wills, Trusts and Estates.

Each board-certified attorney undergoes a peer-review process which assesses competence, as well as professionalism and ethics. They must also pass a comprehensive exam which evaluates a high level of knowledge, skills, and expertise in a specialty field.

Per The Florida Bar, this certification identifies Miranda as, “a lawyer with special knowledge, skills and proficiency, as well as a reputation for professionalism and ethics.” The certification recognizes Miranda as a “certified specialist or expert in [her] practice area.”

Board certification is a voluntary program for lawyers, officiated by The Florida Supreme Court and administered by The Florida Bar. Approximately 7% of Florida Bar members are board-certified.

A resident of Collier County and attorney with Dean Mead’s Estate and Succession Planning practice in the firm’s Naples office, Weiss’ practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax planning.
