(Fort Myers, FL – January 8, 2021) – Christina K. Austin has been promoted to the position of Associate Executive Director of the home and community-based service company, Cypress at Home.
Ms. Austin, who will be responsible for operations of the company’s Care Management and Home Care service lines, moves into her executive position after serving for the past year as Manager of Care Management by Cypress at Home.
Cypress Living parent company CEO and President Troy Churchill said that, “Ms. Austin’s skills and experience will prove extremely beneficial to the company’s exceptional care management and home care services. We continue to see services for older adults that were typically provided in traditional health care settings now shift directly into the home which is driving tremendous growth for Cypress at Home.”
As Manager of Care Management for Cypress at Home, she oversaw a team of Aging Life Care Professionals® who act as a guide and advocate for clients who need some additional support, care coordination and health care navigation.
She is a nationally certified Aging Life Care™ Manager and licensed Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in serving older adults. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Winona State University and then received her Master of Arts in International Business from St. Mary’s University.
