Avow ranked in national Top 15 Best Workplaces in Aging Services: At-Home Care 2021 by Fortune

Avow is named in Fortune’s national top 15 Workplaces in Aging Services: At-Home Care, the only hospice in Florida to make the ranking. The list is compiled based on anonymous surveys of employees whose companies asked for their satisfaction feedback using the Great Place to Work survey.

“We are so pleased to be named on this list, which recognizes our culture of caring,” said Jaysen Roa, president and CEO of Avow companies. “The most important measure of our success is the way we touch people’s lives with our care, and for that to be happen, we have to also care for our employees.”

To be considered for the annual list, 22,000 employees working in Senior Housing & Care and At-Home Care in the Aging Services industry responded to over 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organization creates a Great Place to Work for all. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do. Great Place to Work analyzed these experiences relative to each organization’s size, workforce make up, and what is typical relative to their peers in the industry.

The remaining 15% of the ranking is based on an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders, to ensure they are consistently upheld.

The Great Place to Work Institute, an independent research and consulting firm, named Avow a Great Place to Work in Oct. 2020. To receive the designation, the institute evaluated more than 60 elements of Avow team members’ experience on the job. These included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning.
