Baker Senior Center Naples appoints new Chief Clinical Officer
Baker Senior Center Naples, a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive programs and social services to support older adult and their families, announced the appointment of Jennifer Scalia, LCSW, as its new Chief Clinical Officer.
In this position, Scalia is responsible for providing clinical oversite for the organization’s Geriatric Mental Health program and overseeing its Case Management program with supervision of staff. She also is responsible for coordinating credentialing and billing services for mental health services assuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Scalia has more than 10 years of professional experience in Florida and New York. Most recently, she was Access Center Intake and Outreach Clinician for the David Lawrence Centers (DLC) in Naples. Before that, she served as Acute Care/Emergency Services Clinical Supervisor and as an Emergency Services Lead Clinician for DLC. Scalia began her career working in various roles for the Family Service League in Islap, New York.
Scalia holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Addictions from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. She also earned her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work from Adelphi University. Scalia also received a Certification in Nutrition Counseling from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York, New York.
