Bank had New Trust Operations Specialist

Port Charlotte, Fla., Dec. 25, 2020 – Charlotte State Bank & Trust’s newest Trust Operations Specialist, Brielle Neptune-Kiker, was a student at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) when she joined the bank in February of 2020 as a part-time teller. She graduated in May, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in legal studies and a minor in economics and finance.

A Punta Gorda resident and Charlotte High School graduate, Neptune-Kiker also worked in retail as a sales associate and customer service representative prior to joining the bank.

“We are delighted to have a person of Brielle’s character on our Trust team,” said Executive Vice President Lory Weisensee, who manages the Trust and Investment Management Services division. “Her determination to advance her career is enviable, and her experience working with the public is a plus in handling our Trust clients.”

Brielle supports Trust department operations and assists clients with inquiries, requests and support. She is based at the bank’s Murdock office and may be contacted at bneptune@csbtfl.com.

“I like working in Trust and I think there’s a lot of room for growth within the field,” Neptune-Kiker said. “I studied economics and law, and this job allows me to see the financial and legal side.”

Neptune-Kiker graduated summa cum laude from FGCU, and she continually made the President’s List with a 4.0 grade point average. Fluent in English and conversational French, she volunteers at the Peace River Wildlife Center in Punta Gorda, working in the facility’s animal hospital.

“The main purpose is helping rehabilitate and take care of injured and hurt animals that are brought in by the community,” she said. “I’ve always had a strong passion for animal welfare.”
