BCB Homes’ chief financial officer Shazia Azami has been appointed a partner of the nationally renowned, award-winning, custom-home-building firm.
One of six Naples-based leaders, she will collaborate with the company’s chief executive officer, president, chief operating officer, vice president and vice president of field operations on all building, remodeling and estate management projects as well as building science technology.
Azami spent the last six-and-half-plus years overseeing BCB’s accounting and financial operations as well as developing its growth strategies and driving operational efficiencies.
With a strong and diverse finance background, she started her career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse Coopers. Azami has also held finance leadership positions with local and Fortune 500 companies, such as Allen Systems Group, Centex Homes and Health Management Associates.
As a certified public accountant, Azami received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from the University of South Florida.
“Shazia is an expert in her field and a most reliable source to our industry and, more specifically, our tight-knit group. Having lived in Naples for over 20 years and the state of Florida for decades, she also has a profound understanding of area construction and how it influences the overall landscape of a given location,” said President Greg Brisson. “We’ve always been proud to have her on our executive team, and now, she’s guaranteed to help us make an even greater splash in the regional marketplace.”
