Benson elected president of the Florida Home Builders Association

Ryan Benson has been elected president of the Florida Home Builders Association for 2025.

He previously served as first vice president and secretary of the board for the organization.

Benson is co-owner of A. Vernon Allen Builder, a luxury custom home builder in Naples and on Sanibel. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Housing Finance Corporation, the State’s attainable housing organization. He was originally appointed by Governor DeSantis in 2019 and served as the Chairman of the Board for 2024.

He has served on the boards of numerous local organizations including Canterbury School, Boys and Girls Club of Collier County and the Collier Building Industry Association.

A Vernon Allen Builder is a luxury home builder in Naples, and one of the largest luxury home builders in southwest Florida. Founded in 1951 by Vernon Allen, it is now owned and lead by Ryan Benson and Andy Bringardner. AVA is one of the longest operating home builders in Port Royal, and one of the longest still operating in Naples and has built hundreds of homes in the area through its 70-year history.
