Bleggi, Haynes named managing brokers for Naples offices of John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate

Naples, Fl — Phil Wood, president and chief executive officer of John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate, has announced the appointments of Ryan Bleggi and Spencer Haynes to the position of managing broker for the company’s Central and Fifth Avenue Offices, respectively.

“Ryan and Spencer are both known by many for their real estate expertise and commitment to our local communities,” said Wood. “They have extensive experience in the business and with our company, and they are ideal choices for these new positions.”

The appointments, effective immediately, follow the retirement of the company’s Central Office Managing Broker, Rod Mease.

“Rod has been the respected leader of our Central office for 12 years and a trusted, approachable real estate resource throughout Southwest Florida for many years,” continued Wood. “We will miss working with him daily, but we are excited for his next phase of life.”

Previously serving as managing broker for John R Wood Christie’s International Real Estate’s Fifth Ave S., Marco Island and Isles of Capri offices, Bleggi is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame, and experience in technology sales and consulting. After vacationing in the area for many years, Bleggi relocated to Naples in 2004 and partnered in a boutique real estate firm. He joined John R. Wood in 2016. He has served for several years with NABOR as president, vice president, treasurer and director; director of Florida Realtors Association; chairman of the MLS committee; chairman of the grievance committee of NABOR, along with professional standards and numerous other committees. 

Haynes currently serves as broker for the Vineyards office and vice president of business development, a position he has held since 2019. A native of Decatur, Alabama, he began his real estate career in 1992 and has 31 years of service with John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate. He earned a master’s degree from Hodges University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Stetson University.  His wife and mother-in-law are both Realtors with John R. Wood Properties and members of its Hall of Fame. Haynes served the local real estate community as president of the Naples North Rotary Club Foundation and The Naples Area Board of REALTORS®, where he was named a past Realtor of the Year. His mother was also a sales agent and a manager for the company.
