Building Dreams Foundation’s first annual golf scramble raises more than $50,000

Naples, Fla. – The First Annual Building Dreams Foundation Golf Scramble, held Thursday, October 27 at Quail West Golf & Country Club, raised more than $50,000 for Hurricane Ian relief efforts and affordable housing.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Southwest Florida Emergency Relief Fund through Collaboratory and United Way, as well as Habitat for Humanity of Collier County.
“We are extremely grateful for all the sponsors and teams who supported our first annual golf event,” said Diamond Custom Homes President Michael Diamond. “We are pleased to be able to support our local community during this time of tremendous need.”
Established in March 2020, the Building Dreams Foundation was founded by Jeff Benham and Michael Diamond of Diamond Custom Homes. The foundation supports local charities that focus on improving the lives of underprivileged families through affordable housing and education in Collier County.

Ninety-five golfers participated in the golf scramble.
