Calling on all Life Sciences and Other Organizations to Donate Supplies to Fight COVID-19
On behalf of the hospitals, healthcare systems, life sciences companies and thousands of healthcare workers of Florida, we are writing to ask all life sciences and other organizations to consider how you may be able to help bring additional supplies and other resources to our healthcare institutions so they can continue to test and treat patients with COVID-19.
This link is a list of supplies and scientific and medical expertise we have collectively identified as most needed at this time. We ask you to share this list within your organizations, check your storerooms and supplies, and for those who have supplies / materials to sell or donate to the state, please use the Florida’s Department of Emergency Management (DEM) link to enter that information. This is a critical time for patients and healthcare providers alike. It is incumbent upon all of us as leaders in Florida to do everything we can to address the COVID-19 pandemic and to provide whatever necessary to assist the first responders and healthcare providers who are putting their health and lives on the line every day to help patients.
