Capital Wealth Advisors adds Estate Planning & Insurance Senior Specialist

Capital Wealth Advisors, an independent financial advisory firm based in Naples, announced the appointment of Amanda Bjornson as an Estate Planning and Insurance Senior Specialist. In this role, she works closely with clients and the broader CWA team to develop a cohesive, comprehensive plan to address all aspects of a client’s financial picture.

Bjornson has over 20 years of experience in advanced estate planning, life insurance strategies and high-net-worth wealth transfer. Her expertise spans a wide range of advanced planning strategies, including estate equalization, intergenerational wealth transfer, business succession planning, key person insurance, buy-sell agreements, charitable gifting, premium financing, long-term care, and, where appropriate, the use of certain insurance products as a potential tax-sheltered asset.

Prior to joining CWA, Bjornson served as an advanced planning specialist at Brandon Brokerage Group. Before that, she held wealth and estate planning consultant roles at Capitas Financial and Highland Capital Brokerage, covering multi-state territories. She also previously helped build and launch the insurance platform within the Canadian division of Edward Jones.

Bjornson is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and holds her Life, Health and Variable Annuity License in Florida. She is active as a member of Finseca (formerly AALU), the Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council and the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA). She also is active in a number of community causes, including Friends of the Uffizi Gallery and Big Dog Ranch Rescue.
