Chester Names Health Liaison and Business Development Rep for Cypress at Home
(Fort Myers, FL – October 26, 2020) Cypress at Home is excited to be welcoming Shavon Chester. Shavon will serve as a Health Liaison and Business Development representative for the growing Southwest Florida home and community-based care provider.
A native Floridian, born and raised in Fort Myers, she possesses tremendous passion and energy for serving the Southwest Florida community. Ms. Chester is a past President of the Junior League of Fort Myers and currently serves on the Boards of Directors for CAMEO of Lee County, the Dr. Piper Senior Center for Social Services, the McGregor Clinic, and FHCA District XVI. She also serves on the LARC Advisory Council and Kids Minds Matters Committee and the Ronald McDonald House Red Shoe Society where she is a founding member.
Ms. Chester’s career has been firmly entrenched in long-term care serving over a decade as the Director of Business Development for The Rehab & Healthcare Center of Cape Coral. This role has allowed her to help people and leverage resources to further the nonprofit mission in our area. Recently, Ms. Chester was awarded Gulfshore Business “40 under 40” for her outstanding service to the Southwest Florida community. “Joining this amazing team is a bright spot for me” said Ms. Chester, “and I am excited to be a part of the cutting-edge innovation taking place at Cypress Living!”

Cypress at Home’s Aging Life Care Professionals® provide care coordination and advanced dignified care for older adults. Home Care by Cypress at Home is comprised of a team of clinical and non-clinical members who provide non—Medicare, private duty support. Its Medical Care division is comprised of a team of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, led by Dr. Bob Rahmanian, who provide in-office, in-home, and virtual-based care. Meanwhile, recently launched Home Health unit provides skilled home health services, including assistance as post-hospital care, in-home monitoring services, infusion, social services, wound care, skilled nursing care, clinical case management, and rehabilitation services.
