Child’s Path Receives $10,000 Grant from Suncoast Credit Union

October 8, 2020 (Naples, FL) Suncoast Credit Union has awarded Child’s Path a $10,000 grant to help the organization provide partial scholarships for child care and high-quality early education to the children of low-income, working parents in Collier County. These scholarships give at-risk children access to high-quality early learning, which prepares them for kindergarten and later academic success. The Suncoast Credit Union Foundation is a non-profit organization established to benefit sick children and their families and to support educational initiatives. The Foundation is sponsored entirely by the credit union.

Heather Singleton, the Executive Director of Child’s Path said, “We are so grateful to Suncoast Credit Union for helping to provide scholarships for high-quality early education. The experiences a child has during the years before kindergarten greatly affect brain development and IQ. This investment will change the course of many children’s future!”

About Child’s Path

Child’s Path, formerly known as and currently DBA Collier Child Care Resources (CCCR), provides partial scholarships for the children of low-income, working families who could not otherwise afford high-quality early learning and childcare. Without high-quality early education, these children are at high risk of starting kindergarten behind their peers and therefore facing later academic failure. To learn more about Child’s Path, visit www.childspath.org or call (239) 643-3908.
