Christopher Alan Homes experienced tremendous growth in 2023, looking ahead to 2024

Christopher Alan Homes, Southwest Florida’s largest privately held homebuilder, continues to chart new territory, posting strong single-family home sales and entering new markets in 2023. The company introduced the second phase of The Hammocks in West Port, launched sales in Creekside Run at Babcock Ranch and expanded to Florida’s East Central Space Coast, where nearly 30 move-in ready homes are under construction in Melbourne and Palm Bay.

Ranked among Southwest Florida’s top four builders and the nation’s top 100 builders, Christopher Alan Homes anticipates $203 million in gross revenue – a 43% increase – for 2023.

“It has been a phenomenal and unprecedented year for the company as we continue to identify new markets to meet the needs of our customers,” says Ian Schmoyer, president and CEO of Christopher Alan Homes. “Christopher Alan Homes has a reputation for attainable prices, high-quality construction and energy-efficient features that resonate well with value-conscious homebuyers.”

The builder’s contemporary floor plans are designed for a relaxed Florida lifestyle and appeal to families, empty nesters and retirees. Homes range from three to five bedrooms, two and three baths, and 1,285 to 2,635 square feet under air, with spacious gathering areas and covered lanais for outdoor living. Engineered structural design, with steel-reinforced concrete masonry construction add extra layers of protection and peace of mind.

Christopher Alan Homes offers new-construction single-family homes in master-planned communities and on individual homesites in Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee counties and Florida’s East Central Space Coast, just east of Orlando. The company is also planning to open a new division in Tampa.

Demand, desirable locations, a people-first approach to homebuilding and the completion of decorated model and quick move-in homes are driving Christopher Alan Homes’ success and growth. The builder introduced the first 111 homesites at The Hammocks in West Port, an active-lifestyle community in Port Charlotte, only a year ago – and is now planning the second phase. The official opening of Creekside Run, the builder’s newest neighborhood of 291 homes with private amenities in Babcock Ranch, has generated high interest as model homes near completion.

Christopher Alan Homes also expanded to the Palm Bay and Melbourne market in 2023. Its single-family homes built on scattered sites proved so popular, the company is now building 27 quick move-in homes.

“Our goal is to present customers with numerous options no matter where they are in their homebuying decision – whether they hope to move as soon as possible or build from the ground up,” explains Schmoyersaid Kenny Siggs, executive vice president of new markets. “We’re exploring many other opportunities and anticipate gaining even more momentum for the foreseeable future.”
