CleanFlorida: Reduce spread by using the proper tools

We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, customers, and associates very seriously. Like you, we’re closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Cleaning industry and it’s practices have never been more in the spotlight and on the minds of our community then during this time.

We know that in the days and weeks to come, and quit possibly permanently, a workplaces’ response and reaction and responsibility to sanitizing and disinfecting their place of business will be forever changed.

Gone may be the days of once a month cleanings, or hiring non-trained unlicensed persons to be responsible for the health and well-being of staff. We believe we all must play a part in keeping our staff, and their clients safe at work.

Additionally, for the past several weeks we at CleanFlorida have been working non-stop not only on product training but communicating with staff and clients and researching anything we can about not only this virus but how to help eliminate the spread germs and viruses.

We know our community is looking to us to be the experts now more than ever and we don’t want to let you down. We are teaching and training and teaching some more.

We also don’t believe in scare tactics. We’re all scared enough. What we do believe in is being leaders in our industry with facts and information and to share our knowledge with you so you may make an informed decision on what is the best for you and your company.

Cleaning, Disinfecting, Sanitizing. All different things. Steamers, Sprays, Ultraviolet light, misters. Cotton vs Paper towel vs microfiber. Some gimmicks, some not.

In order to reduce the spread of disease and germs you must use the proper tools and supplies. There’s both a Process and a Product. This is when a professional vs underground cleaning company can make all the difference.

Our process is to sanitize surfaces with a disinfectant following both CDC and EPA guidelines.

FUN FACT: Did you know that Disinfectants are pesticides? Pesticides kill living things like germs and viruses. You need a Disinfectant to do this. It needs to be the right formula with the right practices. *I would be very wary of someone who offers to spay disinfectants all over the space. You are spraying a pesticide. It needs to be wiped up after spraying with a cleaner. Please be sure the person using this tool is properly trained.

But what does need to happen is sanitizing using a disinfectant on all touch points. From keyboards and door knobs, to desk front, bathrooms, refrigerator handles and light switches. With the proper tools and chemicals you can reduce the spread of germs and viruses while maintaining a safer work environment for you team.

What’s the next step?

Call our office to schedule a phone consultation. If you are already a client and need to change the frequency of your cleans please do so as we want to give you priority scheduling.

If your office, retail facility, restaurant is siting empty then right now is the perfect time to schedule a one time disinfecting cleaning.

We know there will be an end in sight of the current spread. We will all be back at work, but let’s go back with confidence and peace of mind with updated and upgraded practices in place.
