Comerica Bank celebrates 20 SWFL nonprofits through ‘gomerica Gratitude’

gomerica Gratitude presentation at Guadalupe Center

NAPLES, Fla.  – Comerica Bank has concluded a five-month initiative to honor and celebrate nonprofit organizations in Southwest Florida that are raising expectations in the community.

Through gomerica Gratitude, Comerica presented donations to 20 nonprofits aligned with the company’s three giving priorities: education, economic and community development, and human services. Nearly every week from June through October, Comerica representatives surprised nonprofits, toured buildings and met with employees, volunteers and the individuals being impacted by each organization.

“I knew we had strong nonprofits serving this community, but each week, I walked away from our presentations in awe of the talented teams leading these organizations and the innovative ways they are helping lift up everyone in our community,” said Adam Lysiak, manager of Comerica’s Naples banking center. “The response of these nonprofits after Hurricane Ian has been incredible, but these same organizations have been awe-inspiring for decades.”

Comerica, which has banking centers across five states, operates a full-service banking center at 3001 Tamiami Trail North, Suite 100, in Naples. The company’s gomerica Mobile Bank is based at Boys & Girls Club of Collier County in East Naples and helped provide banking services to the community after Comerica’s full-service banking center was closed following Hurricane Ian.

The 20 organizations recognized through gomerica Gratitude include Better Together; Boys & Girls Club of Collier County; Champions for Learning; Collier County Hunger & Homeless Coalition; Florida SouthWestern State College Foundation; Grace Place for Children & Families; Guadalupe Center; Habitat for Humanity of Collier County; Harry Chapin Food Bank; Housing Development Corporation of SW Florida; Immokalee Branch Library; Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance; Lorenzo Walker Technical College; NAMI Collier County; Pace Center for Girls, Collier County; SCORE Foundation; St. Matthew’s House; The Shelter for Abused Women & Children; United Way of Collier and the Keys; and YMCA of Collier County.
