Commercial Properties Construction Debris Pickup from Hurricane Ian update as of October 23, 2022

At the time of this writing, FEMA has not authorized commercial debris pickup from commercial property sites.

While we are waiting for FEMA to “turn on that program”, it is important that your construction debris does not impede the health, safety, and welfare of the community.

What this means:

• Construction debris cannot block a safe passage of travel
• Construction debris should not be stacked against a building

Consider using parking spaces for the storage of this construction debris or having it hauled off by a contractor that you would hire.
