Connor+Gaskins Transportation completes travel center

Connor+Gaskins Transportation, a division of Connor+Gaskins Unlimited, is proud to announce the completion of the new TravelCenters of America (TA) Travel Center in Dale, Indiana. The 20-acre project recently celebrated its grand opening, officially welcoming travelers and professional drivers to a modern, full-service facility designed with convenience, comfort and efficiency in mind.

At the heart of the Dale Travel Center is a 10,000-square-foot building tailored to both travelers and professional drivers. The facility provides a streamlined experience for travelers while offering professional drivers a dedicated environment to rest, refuel and recharge.

The new TA Travel Center includes extensive parking options to accommodate a wide range of visitors, with 71 automobile spaces and 204 semi-truck spaces. It also incorporates a number of amenities designed specifically for the professional driving community, including:
• Nine tiled showers
• Preferred parking options
• A professional driver’s lounge
• On-site truck accessories
• A CAT scale for added convenience

The Dale location also expands TA’s sustainable offerings with biodiesel fuel options and a range of quick-service restaurants, including Arby’s and Dunkin’ Donuts.

Beyond the site itself, Connor+Gaskins also managed the construction of 1,500 feet of new city roadway, complete with street lighting, along with the installation of sewer, potable water, electrical and fiberoptic extensions designed to serve the Travel Center as well as future development.
