Counseling Associates of America welcomes Dr. Ellie Seoane

Counseling Associates of America announces the addition of Ellie Seoane, Psy.D., to its team of dedicated mental health professionals.

“Dr. Ellie is passionate about guiding individuals toward a deeper understanding of themselves and helping them discover what brings the most meaning into their lives,” says Dr. Stephanie Roque, clinical director at Counseling Associates. “Her approach focuses on empowering clients to achieve life satisfaction through self-awareness, improved self-esteem and enhanced connection with others,” she adds.

Originally from South Florida, Seoane earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in Miami and went on to complete both her master’s and doctorate in clinical psychology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.

Currently working towards licensure in the state of Florida, Seoane specializes in helping individuals navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, burnout, relationship issues and self-esteem concerns. She also brings extensive experience in conducting psychological evaluations for children, adolescents and adults for a wide range of reasons, including diagnostic clarification, treatment formulation, ADHD assessments and assessments of intelligence and academic abilities.

Seoane completed her clinical internship at the Faulk Center for Counseling in Boca Raton, where she provided mental health services to individuals across the lifespan. Her work included both group and individual therapy as well as comprehensive psychological assessments. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she can offer counseling and assessments in either language.
