Crowne Plaza Ft. Myers Gulf Coast welcomes Kurt Swan as guest experience manager

Crowne Plaza Ft. Myers Gulf Coast has added hospitality professional Kurt Swan to its leadership team as guest experience manager. In this role, Swan will oversee front-of-house operations to ensure guests enjoy a seamless and memorable arrival experience.

With nearly a decade of experience in the hospitality industry in Southwest Florida and Illinois, Swan brings a passion for service and a diverse professional background to the award-winning team.

“We are pleased to welcome Kurt and his breadth of experience to our team,” said Brian Holly, managing director of Crowne Plaza Ft. Myers Gulf Coast. “We know he will be a great addition and continue to elevate the experience for our guests.”

Originally from Chicago, Swan studied jazz performance at Eastern Illinois University. In 2009, he was chosen by the White House as one of two representatives from Illinois to perform with the Marsalis family for the Obamas. He is the musical director of Cornerstone Church of Southwest Florida.

“I have worked at many properties in a variety of roles and am passionate about creating lasting memories for our guests,” said Swan. “It is always my goal to turn a moment into a memory and to do my part to ensure the team’s overall success.”
