Daldorado relocates fiberglass operation from Florida to the Midwest
Daldorado, a leading provider of commercial pool and water park main drains, sumps and perimeter grating, has relocated its fiberglass operation to the Midwest after five years in Florida.
The move better positions Daldorado to serve pool contractors and commercial customers from coast-to-coast and around the world with quicker production timelines while expanding product lines and remaining competitive on pricing.
The production facility in America’s heartland offers a centrally located base to receive shipments of raw materials and distribute finished products by ground or air.
“Having a new state-of-the-art fiberglass production facility will increase our production capacity and vastly reduce lead times and transit times,” said Daldorado CEO Rob Lawson. “Not only is the new facility larger and climate controlled, but it’s also been certified by the FDA and OSHA.”
The expanded production facility allows Daldorado to introduce two larger suction outlet fitting assemblies (SOFAs), 18 inches by 72 inches and 24 inches by 48 inches, as well as produce custom fiberglass rim-flow and beach entry gutter systems, large skimmers and wall weir units that complement propulsion units.
“We are receiving more inquiries from larger aquatic facilities, like municipal pools, water parks, lazy rivers, public fountains and splash pads, so we’ll be able to offer more sizes and products to meet their needs,” Lawson said.
Daldorado expects minimal delivery interruptions as operations are transferred to the new facility.
