Day Adjusting and the Above Board Chamber present STORM and HURRICANE Readiness event on Aug. 21
Homeowners, business property owners, HOA’s and the public are invited to learn the top tips from area professionals on how to prepare for the next storm that may strike our area. The free event is being presented by the Above Board Chamber of Florida and DAY Adjusting & Consulting.
The town hall formatted event will be held at the Hilton Naples on Monday, August 21. Doors will open at 5pm for networking and question submissions with the panel presentation running from 5:30 to 6:30.
Questions will be directed to an experienced panel of experts, each of whom has navigated the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Panelists include Blake Day – President of DAY Adjusting & Consulting, Shane Burdett – Executive VP of Sabal Construction and Roofing, Remington Huggins– Founding Attorney of Huggins Law Firm, and Tim Mitchell – Owner of TOPCAT Property and Restoration.
Attendees will learn how to:
• navigate insurance claims,
• deal with damage and repairs,
• plus learn their legal rights as it pertains to damages because of a storm.
The panel will also explore the do’s and don’ts of hurricane preparedness and offer useful tips to help before, during, and after unforeseen disasters.
The presenting sponsor for the event is DAY Adjusting & Consulting, locally owned and operated by Blake Day. His team of adjusters advocates for policyholders when filing an insurance claim. They handle the claim process with the objective of negotiating with the insurance company for a higher and more appropriate payout. Blake Day has a passion for helping property owners overcome the challenges they face with their insurance claims.
“We’re excited to partner with Blake Day and his team for this important event. The experts on the panel have valuable information that will benefit anyone who lives or owns property in Florida. My family went through our home being destroyed during Ian, and I wish I had this information available to me before the storm. My life would have been so much easier in dealing with the aftermath,” said Above Board Chamber CEO, Jeanne Sweeney. “We are hosting this event as a public service, that’s why it’s free to everyone.”
The Naples event is set for Monday, August 21 at the Hilton Naples, 5111 Tamiami Trail N. from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. To register for this free event, please register at AboveBoardChamber.com/events or call 239-910-7426. Register early as seating is limited.
