Diamond Custom Homes names Jacob Weiss director of construction

Naples, Fla. — Luxury homebuilder Diamond Custom Homes has announced the appointment of Jacob Weiss to the position of Director of Construction.

In this leadership position, Weiss will be responsible for supervising the construction and project management teams; establishing standards for quality and delivering homes according to the standards; evaluating alternative construction methods for cost efficiency and quality improvement; budget management and accuracy; monitoring industry trends, code variations and continuing education; overseeing, instructing, training and evaluating construction personnel in accordance with Diamond Custom Homes’ core values; maintaining subcontractor relationships; establishing workflow and priority of work process from sales agreement to completion; and designing and establishing processes for inspections, quality control, home walks and standard operating procedures.

Weiss is a Florida-certified general contractor and graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management. Prior to joining Diamond Custom Homes, he served as president of Naples-based Innovative Construction Solutions, growing revenue from $2 million in 2019 to $12 million in 2021.
