Elite Jets Charters promotes Gustavo Botura to director of client services
NAPLES – Elite Jets Charters has promoted Gustavo Botura to the newly created position of director of client services.
In his expanded role, Botura will lead a team responsible for all proactive communications with prospective clients as Elite Jets continues emerging as Southwest Florida’s leading charter air service. One of Botura’s primary responsibilities will be fostering new business-to-business relationships. Elite Jets partners with companies and business executives in Southwest Florida and across the nation to schedule private, luxury transportation.
Previously, Botura served as Elite Jets’ executive charter consultant, a role in which he worked one-on-one with clients to create customized travel experiences. Botura is one of Elite Jets’ first employees, having been part of the Naples-based company’s launch team in 2015 while helping arrange the purchase and delivery of five luxury jets. Today, Elite Jets has more than 35 employees and safely transports business and leisure travelers to destinations across North, Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean. In 2020, Elite Jets opened a private terminal at the Naples Airport and expanded its white diamond concierge services.
Before joining Elite Jets, Botura worked in aviation sales and marketing, including several key roles with Embraer, the Brazilian-based manufacturer that built Elite Jets’ Phenom 300 and Legacy 500 aircraft. After starting as a college intern with a landing gear company owned by Embraer, Botura’s roles expanded to include delivery performance agent, supply analyst and sales contracts administrator for executive jets.
Botura, who also has been a licensed helicopter pilot, earned a business management degree from Universidade Paulista in Brazil.
Founded in 2016, Elite Jets is a premier, safety-focused charter aircraft service that serves destinations across the U.S. and abroad. Elite Jets’ fleet includes four Phenom 300s and one Legacy 500, along with a Bell 407 helicopter. The company’s Embraer luxury jets are well-suited for business and leisure travelers while offering an eco-friendly, best-in-class carbon footprint. Elite Jets maintains an Argus Platinum Rating, a prestigious safety and quality designation earned by just 5% of charter operators nationwide. The company also is registered with the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (ISBAO), a set of industry-leading best practices, and the WYVERN safety data network, which displays its Safety Intelligence Report and regulatory compliance information. Elite Jets also offers aircraft management services, which include providing pilots, training, maintenance, fleet insurance, scheduling and additional services.
