Esposito Appointed to Affordable Housing Advisory Committee by Lee County Board of Commissioners

Bonita Springs, Florida – SWFL Inc. is proud to announce its President and CEO, Tiffany Esposito, MBA, CCE, IOM, APR, has been appointed to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee by the Lee County Board of Commissioners.

The Lee County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee is an eight-to-eleven-member committee appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. Its purpose is to identify relevant issues and problems relating to affordable housing in Lee County and provide recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners to increase the supply of such housing.

“It’s an honor to serve the citizens of Lee County in this new role as I participate in the policy making process,” said Esposito. “I’m excited to be a part of conversations that will improve the quality of life for businesses and their teams.”

SWFL Inc.’s 2022 Legislative Agenda puts an emphasis on economic development as well as increasing the amount of available workforce housing. SWFL Inc. supports and advocates for policies that increase the number of available homes that are affordable for the workforce and the community.

To be continuously active in these important conversations in the Southwest Florida community, Esposito was recently reelected for the second year as the Chair of the Hodges University Board of Trustees. She was also reelected to the ACCE Board of Directors for the District 2 seat for a 2-year term beginning in July 2021.

In June, she was selected to serve on the Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) Commission through the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). In addition to this, Esposito was appointed to the CDBG-Mitigation Program’s Citizen Advisory Committee in August of this year.
