Please join us for Business Before Breakfast on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Valerie’s House from 7:30 to 8:30 am. Valerie’s House is a not-for-profit organization devoted to providing children and their families, who have experienced the death of a loved one, a safe place to share and experience support with other who are also grieving, while moving through the healing process. At Valerie’s House they are using supplies every day to help families.
Check out the list below and help them furnish and stock their shelves with supplies:
-Art supplies (paper, scissors, crayons, markers, stickers, tissue paper, etc.)
-Paper goods (plates, plastic cutlery, cups, napkins).
-Garbage bags
-Large white boards
-Puppet station
-Outdoor balls/toys
-Plastic storage containers (all sizes)
-Store gift cards- Michaels, Target
-Water bottles/ beverages
-Wall of cork
-Shelving
-Tissue boxes
-Grief Books (toddlers to teens)
-Printer paper
-Printer Ink
Enjoy light refreshments while networking and be sure to bring plenty of business cards. This networking event is free for all Chamber members and future Chamber members. The “Member of the Month” will be randomly drawn from Chamber member’s business cards submitted at this event.
