Top SWFL PR Projects to be Celebrated at Local Image Awards

The Southwest Florida chapter of FPRA will honor the best local public relations projects of 2018 at its annual Local Image Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 18 at the historic Burroughs Home & Gardens.

Tickets are $75 for members, $85 for non-members and $65 for PR students, and include the evening’s champagne toast, three-course dinner, entertainment and awards ceremony. Photo opportunities will also be available. The historic Burroughs Home will also be open for all attendees to tour. Local media personalities Jen Stacy and Greg Parker of ABC7 will provide emcee services.

This year’s event theme, “Through the Hourglass,” will celebrate both the Southwest Florida chapter’s history in the market and the evolution of public relations in the region over the past few decades. There will be a themed video as additional entertainment during the ceremony.

Local Image Awards honor the best Southwest Florida PR campaigns and materials in a variety of categories and are a lead-up to FPRA’s statewide Golden Image Awards.

Winners of the annual Chapter Awards, including PR Professional of the Year, will also be announced at the ceremony.
