Eyemart Express Brings Jobs and Affordable Glasses to Fort Myers

In addition to making inexpensive prescription eyewear available to local residents, the optical retailer is contributing to local economic growth with the creation of 10 new jobs at the store, located at 12995 South Cleveland Avenue.

The store also features an on-site lab so that 90 percent of glasses can be ordered and received on the same day — some in as little as 30 minutes.
Eyemart Express has added enhanced safety protocols, including wearing masks and limiting the number of people in stores, to keep customers safe and give peace of mind while they shop for the company’s fastest glasses. Shoppers can expect to receive the same high-level of customer service and speed that they are accustomed to while getting new glasses at Eyemart Express.
In celebration of the grand opening, Eyemart Express is offering customers additional savings on top of the optical retailer’s existing affordable prices, including two pairs of single vision glasses for $19 or two pairs of glasses with progressive lenses for $68. Shoppers can either receive an eye exam from one of the independent doctors of optometry located next door to the stores or they can bring in an existing prescription from their eye doctor.
The Fort Myers store opening expands the optical retailer’s 20 percent everyday discount programs in Florida to:
· All veterans; retired, active- and nonactive duty military personnel and their families.
· School faculty and staff including teachers, coaches, bus drivers, janitors and others who work in schools.
· All healthcare professionals and first responders for their work on the front lines in the battle against COVID-19.
