February issue highlights the financial industry

Southwest Florida Financial Industry

Okay, I know it’s only the first week of January, but we all know it’s time to remind business owners that the business tax deadline is just around the corner on March 15.

The FEBRUARY issue of Southwest Florida Business Today (SWFBT) highlights the financial industry–including banking, accounting and insurance–in its annual “Financial Review” edition. This edition provides our more than 50,000 readers in print and online with the practical information needed by business owners on topics such as a corporate tax checklist, new or expiring business tax credits, various types of insurance available to businesses, etc. Ads are available to fit every budget. The edition is also available to our 3000 website visitors/month via the digital version of the newspaper available at swfloridabusinesstoday.com (which is also direct-delivered to our proprietary email database of 3000.)

Send all ad files to publisher@swfloridabusinesstoday.comAd specs are available on our website for your reference. We can design your ad for a one-time setup fee starting at $50.

The ad deadline is coming up quickly–5pm Friday, January 14 is the final proof and space deadline.

I can take system ready material up till 5pm Monday, January 17. The SWFBT team will be working that day but since January 17 is a national holiday, please allow for that with your ad submission/production if your business is closed that day.

You can also share your wisdom with SWFBT’s readers via writing a guest column–at no cost to you! These run space available: we fit as many as we can into this issue.

Here’s some basic guidelines we follow for guest column submissions:

First, we’re looking for original material. Second, it must have a local angle and be written for the business owner/operator with an educational (not an advertorial) approach. Third, we would like a 20-30 word “mini-bio” of the author as well as contact information. If you have a photo we can use, that would also be appreciated. The average column is around 500 words, but I am open to something more in-depth as well.

Please send all guest column submissions to editor@swfloridabusinesstoday.com by 5pm Wednesday, January 12.

This is the best opportunity you have all year to participate in a publication focused on educating business owners and managers about your company’s role in the financial industry — and more specifically, YOUR business services. Or again, you can share your non-financial company’s financial “lesson learned,”.

We look forward to serving you and the financial industry in 2022!

Remember that SWFBT readers may not be your clients today but they can become your clients tomorrow!

Sincerely,

Karen P. Moore
