First Horizon Bank Celebrates Ft. Myers/Naples Businesses With $50,000 Awarded

Ft. Myers, FL  – First Horizon Corp. (NYSE: FHN or “First Horizon”) announced today the winners of the First Horizon Back to Business Contest designed to celebrate resilient businesses in the communities the bank serves. The bank awarded $1 million dollars to 57 small businesses across six states.

“Strong businesses are the cornerstone of strong communities, and championing those businesses is at the heart of everything we do,” shares First Horizon Ft. Myers Market President Bryan Simmering. “First Horizon provides capital and counsel to local businesses and we look forward to working with these exceptional companies and supporting the Ft. Myers/Naples community.”

Small businesses winners of the contest in Ft Myers/Naples include:

● Nectar Lab – Ft. Myers – a new vibrant organic herbal tea bar and social lounge that aims to inspire the community to lead a healthy and holistic lifestyle – Awarded $30,000
● Koucky Enterprises, LLC – Pine Island-based local pottery studio and class space – Awarded $10,000
● Patty’s Apparel, a women’s clothing store serving Collier and Lee counties – Awarded $5,000
“Thanks to the prize money we can now offer eco-friendly restaurant supplies to align with our customer base who are dedicated to going green and advocating for our planet,” says Benjamin Klausner, operations manager at Nectar Lab – Ft. Myers.
“We look forward to our First Horizon associates continuing long-term client relationships throughout Southwest Florida,” said First Horizon Naples Market President David Gordley.

About the Contest
Businesses submitted a short description highlighting how they would use the money, along with a photo or video. More than 100 entries were submitted in the Ft Myers region, ranging from a wide variety of businesses and services, including boutiques, trucking companies and local restaurants. First Horizon selected 50 businesses as finalists in each of the contest communities and opened voting to the public.
