Florida Design Works hires Stuart Mitchell to their Naples Showroom
Naples, Florida – Florida Design Works is pleased to announce the addition of Stuart Mitchell to the showroom design team. Formerly with DeMarco Tile Distributor in Naples, Stuart spent the last 27 years perfecting his knowledge of the tile industry, especially in natural stones.
James McKinney, Vice President of Sales for the Naples and Ft. Myers locations said “Adding Stuart to our team provides us another layer of expertise to our veteran team. His knowledge of the stone industry, including how the products are mined and queried, are unmatched in our business.” He went on to add “his existing relationships with customers in the design, remodeling and building trades are attributed to his easy-going, always-helpful demeanor and we are excited to have him collaborating with our team and partners”.
Stuart has lived in the Naples area for over two decades, hailing originally from Atlanta, GA. When he isn’t busy with helping his customers, he is enjoying his family – including his grown children, grandchildren, and wife. McKinney said, “This family-man is a great addition to our family-owned business.”
Sales for Design Works across its entire footprint including Sarasota, Tampa, Fort Myers, Naples, Jacksonville and Miami are strong for 2021, despite challenges from increased freight costs, limited product-availability and supply chain woes caused by the global pandemic.
