Florida Disaster Recovery Centers in Lee, Charlotte to close permanently on Jan. 7
The centers in Lee and Charlotte counties will close permanently at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The centers in , Citrus, Dixie, Hillsborough, Indian River and Lake counties will also close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The Disaster Recovery Centers in Flagler and Sumter counties will close permanently at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Homeowners and renters are encouraged to apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov or by using the FEMA App. You may also apply by phone at 800-621-3362. Lines are open every day and help is available in most languages. If you use a relay service, captioned telephone or other service, give FEMA your number for that service.
