Florida Repertory Theatre welcomes Trine Alfaro as its new marketing manager

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce Trine Alfaro as the company’s next marketing manager after a months-long search.
Bringing a diverse background in strategic marketing, digital media management, and community engagement, Alfaro has led marketing initiatives for a nationwide company and previously served as marketing director for multiple school campuses across Southwest and Central Florida. Alfaro holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida Gulf Coast University and has strong ties to Southwest Florida, where he has lived for more than 30 years.
Originally from Iowa, Alfaro moved to Florida with his family and grew up in Immokalee, where his family worked in agriculture – an experience that helped shape his strong work ethic and appreciation for community. He is actively involved with numerous chambers of commerce and participates in citywide events and with local boards, reflecting his commitment to community engagement. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time near or on the water, embracing the Southwest Florida lifestyle.
Alfaro joins Florida Rep’s administration staff as the company ramps up production for its 29th season.
“The future is bright for Florida Rep,” said producing artistic director Greg Longenhagen in a statement. “We have a spectacular 29th season of professional theatre on the horizon, and Trine will help with that success. He has years of marketing and public relations experience, a real enthusiasm for the arts, and he knows how to blend creativity with data-driven strategy.
