Florida’s Paradise Coast CVB Earns President’s Award at 65th Annual HSMAI Adrian Awards

Naples, Fla. – The Naples, Marco Island, Everglades CVB has been recognized with three awards in the annual Adrian Awards competition, presented by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), including the highest honor – a President’s Award for the destination’s “Only Paradise Will Do” recovery marketing campaign.

The Adrian Awards honor excellence in hospitality advertising, digital marketing and public relations across numerous segments in the industry, including hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car rental companies, destinations, credit card companies and more. Winners are selected by senior industry and media experts and were honored at the Adrian Awards Celebration, held last night in Boca Raton, Fla.

President’s Awards were presented to top entries across four 2021 Focus Categories, with Collier County earning recognition for its submission in the Recovery Campaign Evolution category. Campaigns entered in the 2020 competition remained eligible if the new entry shows how the campaign evolved as the industry moved into recovery and conditions changed.

“We are honored to be acknowledged within the industry among the top destinations in the world – and, even more notably, for a campaign that not only was created in response to arguably the single largest impact on the global travel industry, but also generated unprecedented results in the destination’s recovery,” said Naples, Marco Island, Everglades CVB Executive Director Paul Beirnes. “Our strategy to be nimble and adaptive guided us through the pandemic; this recognition is a direct reflection of that work, and this award is shared with all of our industry partners and community.”
