Former Lee County Commissioner John Albion joins SVN Commercial Partners’ Fort Myers team

Fort Myers, FL – John Albion, an industry veteran in commercial real estate and Lee County Commissioner from 1992 to 2006, recently joined SVN Commercial Partners in Fort Myers.

Albion, an industry professional in Southwest Florida since 1985, specializes in office, medical office and hotel property types. He joins the SVN Commercial Partners team after a 10-year stint with Cushman & Wakefield’s Fort Myers office.

As Lee County Commissioner and also Lee County Port Authority Commissioner, Albion oversaw the opening of the new terminal at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers, a significant milestone in infrastructure for the region. The Albion family has owned land in Lee County since the 1960’s and John Albion is a second-generation Fort Myers resident. Albion’s commitment to Southwest Florida in both private and public service brings a wealth of market knowledge to the SVN Commercial Partners team.

“We are pleased to have John join our growing Fort Myers office,” SVN Managing Partner Ashley Barrett Bloom said. “The complimentary skillsets and local market knowledge will enhance the already talented roster in the market.”
