Fun Time Early Childhood Academy names Christen Krembs as executive director
The Board of Directors of Fun Time Early Childhood Academy is pleased to announce the official appointment of Christen Krembs as executive director, following her successful tenure as interim executive director.
“On behalf of the board of directors, I am thrilled to share exciting news about the future of Fun Time Early Childhood Academy,” said Karen Lutz, Board President. “After a thorough and thoughtful process, we are proud to announce the official appointment of Christen Krembs as our executive director.”
Krembs has been serving as interim executive director, where she has led with steady guidance, a clear vision, and an unwavering commitment to the mission of Fun Time Academy. Her leadership has already made a meaningful impact, and the board unanimously agreed that she is the right person to guide the organization forward.
With more than 20 years of educational experience in Collier County Public Schools—including roles as an elementary school principal and administrative director of elementary teaching and learning—Krembs brings a deep understanding of education, strong ties to the local community, and a heartfelt dedication to children and families.
The board is confident in Krembs’ ability to strengthen programs, expand outreach, and build upon Fun Time’s 65-year legacy of providing affordable, high-quality early childhood education to underserved children from working families.
