Gallery One moves colorful art gallery to new location along Naples’ Fifth Avenue South

The Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District announced that Gallery One, one of the area’s oldest established art galleries, has moved to a new location along Naples’ Historic Main Street. Located on Fifth Ave. South, the art gallery is immediately across the street from its previous home of more than 10 years.

Gallery One is a locally owned art gallery specializing in blown glass, original paintings, sculpture, artesian jewelry and Judaica. It also offers specialized services such as art consulting and project specific commissions, plus delivery and installation. Private event hosting also is provided by the gallery to connect people with beautiful expressions of art.

“We are excited to open our colorful new gallery on Fifth Avenue South,” said Mary Lou Chronister, owner of Gallery One. “The Avenue is truly the heart of Naples, the place to see and be scene, providing us exposure to locals and visitors from around the world. Our friendly, approachable gallery appeals to both serious investors and casual art collectors.”

Founded in 1992 by the owner of The Mole Hole shop on Third Street South, Gallery One has been owned and operated by Chronister for more than 15 years. The gallery currently represents more than 250 well-known and emerging artists showcasing fine quality contemporary and eclectic art in all mediums and price ranges.

“Gallery One has been a landmark in Naples for nearly three decades,” said Bruce Barone, Jr., executive director for the Fifth Avenue South BID. “Their relocation to a new building ties in nicely with our growing reputation as a one-stop-shop, arts and entertainment district, offering diverse forms and styles of art to suit everyone’s tastes.”
