Welcome to Our New Steering Committee Members!

Carly Chase – Vice President of the Career Business Franchise at U.S. News and Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School – is joining the Edison Awards Steering Committee! Chase brings deep expertise in entrepreneurship and career innovation, with a background that includes MIT, Goldman Sachs, NYCEDC, and more.

Also new to the steering committee is Nate Newman – the CEO of Paramagnetix Inc., a startup developing portable magnetic resonance technology to improve food safety across commercial and consumer sectors. A renowned materials scientist, he is an IEEE Fellow with over 200 publications and 16 U.S. patents, and formerly served as the Lawrence Professor of Solid State Sciences at Arizona State University.
