Greater Fort Myers Chamber installs 2019-2020 Board

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the installation of its 2019-2020 Board of Directors and officers for the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors will be led by board chair Bryan Blackwell, financial advisor and managing partner of Molloy Financial Group; joined by first vice chair Jim Larkin, general manager of Crowne Plaza Fort Myers at Bell Tower Shops; second vice chair Angela Schivinski, publisher for Fort Myers Florida Weekly; treasurer Bill Fricke, director of business rental sales, Enterprise Holdings; and immediate past chairman Joe Mitchell, president of Pool Pros, Inc. New Chamber board members include: Michele Hoover, managing partner of Solomon & Hoover CPAs, PLLC; Phil Stalnaker, business director for B2 Technology Solutions; Tommy Huether, assistant project manager and superintendent at Gulfpoint Construction Company, Inc.; Chris Lopez, director of public policy for the Royal Palm Coast Realtor® Association; and Eddie Metzger, regional manager, local government, community relations and economic development, TECO Peoples Gas.

Working to support the Chamber’s efforts to enhance education and professional development at a variety of levels within Southwest Florida, the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Foundation’s Board of Directors will be led by board chair Joe Mitchell, president of Pool Pros, Inc., joined by vice president Janette L’Heureux, managing advisor for Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners; treasurer Sharon Thompson, managing shareholder of Hughes, Snell & Co., P.A.; and secretary Suzanne Boy, founding partner, attorney and board certified specialist, labor and employment law for Boy Agnew Potanovic, PLLC.

The 2019-2020 Board of Directors were appointed during the Chamber’s General Membership Meeting on June 20. Outgoing board chairs, board members and volunteer committee chairpersons were recognized during the ceremony for their year of service.
