Greater Naples Chamber to host Wake Up Naples Dec. 3

The Greater Naples Chamber is excited to announce it will discuss infrastructure updates during Wake Up Naples on Tuesday, Dec. 3. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Hilton Naples, 5111 Tamiami Trail N., and will feature Chris Rozansky, executive director of the Naples Airport Authority, and Wayne Gaither, the southwest area office director of the Florida Department of Transportation.

“Infrastructure is a critical issue in Collier County and Southwest Florida. From our airport to our roadways, these systems are essential for supporting our local and regional economy,” said Kristina Park, the president and CEO of the Greater Naples Chamber. “This event will bring together industry experts to explore how infrastructure improvements can enhance connectivity, drive economic development and ensure Southwest Florida remains the best place to live, work and play.

Rozansky will deliver updates on a variety of Naples Airport Authority topics, including the recent Exploratory Study, which created speculation on whether the Naples Airport was planning to move to a more eastern location in the county. Rozansky will also be able to discuss how his team is awaiting news from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding a review of the Part 150 Noise Study, which was submitted last July.

Gaither will share information related to road development and management as the integration of multi-model transportation services. Gaither has more than 20 years of experience directly related to the transportation field through work at the Metropolitan Planning Organization level, Lee County Transit and the Florida Department of Transportation. Gaither has also worked as a comprehensive planner at both the city and county level.

Tickets for Wake Up Naples are now available for purchase. Chamber member tickets are $40, nonmembers are $50. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
