Healthcare Network Hires Antonello Castaldi as Volunteer Program Manager

NAPLES, Fla. (Aug. 23, 2021) – Healthcare Network is pleased to announce the hiring of Antonello Castaldi as volunteer program manager. In this role, Castaldi will develop and launch the organization’s new volunteer program which is being introduced to further interactions with and enhance patient wellbeing. His responsibilities will include recruiting volunteers, representing Healthcare Network in the community, hosting volunteer orientations and matching volunteers’ interests to organizational needs.

Born in Rome, Italy, Castaldi brings nearly 20 years of international nonprofit experience to the position including working with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). During his tenure with UNICEF, he held various roles serving in Eritrea (a country in East Africa), Italy, Panama and Mexico. He designed and led fundraising campaigns, trained, motivated and led hundreds of volunteers and represented UNICEF at many events.

Most recently, Antonello served as an adult protection investigator with the Florida Department of Children and Families in Fort Myers.

Antonello has a Master of Human Rights from La Sapienza University, Rome, Italy, and a Master of Business Administration from the Huizenga School of Business, Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
