Heather Daugherty Joins Spiro & Associates as Senior Art Director

FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 11, 2021) – Spiro & Associates Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and Brand Architecture is pleased to announce the hiring of Heather Daugherty as the new Senior Art Director.

Award winning and experienced in her previous life in the publishing industry in New York City, Daugherty will be working alongside a talented and dedicated team, which will execute branding material for the clients of Spiro & Associates.

“I’m excited to be returning to Florida to join the team at Spiro & Associates, and to dive back into my love for branding and corporate ID development,” Daugherty said.

Daugherty is bringing more than 20 years of design experience to the agency. She has spent most of her career designing books in the publishing industry in New York City, working for Penguin Group, Random House, HarperCollins Publishing, and most recently, Scholastic Inc.

Daugherty was born in Detroit, Mich., and raised in the Tampa Bay area where her family still lives. She started her education in fine arts at The University of Tampa where she studied photography but transferred to the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University in Boston, Mass., where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
