Heatherwood Construction Company increases classroom space for Mason Classical Academy

Naples, FL  – Heatherwood Construction Company recently finished a four-month project which expanded the classroom space for students at Mason Classical Academy.

Partnering with MK Architecture, Heatherwood Construction Company redesigned existing classrooms and built additional classrooms on the second floor of the school. Under the direction of Superintendent Brendon West, other projects included building two new stair towers for evacuation in case of a fire as well as additional offices and restrooms for school staff.

Mason Classical Academy is a kindergarten through 12th grade public charter school, which is open to all students in Collier County. The academy was founded in 2014 originally as a K-6 school.

“This was a very satisfying project for us to be able to partner with MK Architecture and provide more learning room for students,” said Walter Crawford, president and CEO of Heatherwood Construction Company. “Brendon and his team did a great job on this project.”
