Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers welcomes Abra Salley to its board of commissioners
The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers has welcomed Abra Salley to its board of commissioners.
Salley, a long-time advocate for community development, brings a deep understanding of and a strong commitment to addressing the needs of local residents. As a board member, she will volunteer her time to actively support the Housing Authority’s mission, engage directly with residents and strengthen ties with the community. She joins six other dedicated members appointed to the board by the mayor.
Salley is currently a teacher for The School District of Lee County and a part-time certified and licensed real estate agent in Southwest Florida. She is a native Floridian, born and raised in Fort Myers. After graduating from Fort Myers Senior High School, she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from South Carolina State University and her master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University.
“We are excited to have Abra join our dedicated board of directors,” said Marcia Davis, executive director of HACFM. “As a Southwest Florida native, her knowledge of the area and the community we serve will be invaluable. We know she will be a great asset to our team and our residents.”
