Immokalee Foundation announces two new board members

The Immokalee Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of two distinguished leaders, Tom Driscoll and Kent M. Adams, to its Board of Directors. Both bring decades of executive experience, deep community commitment, and a shared dedication to expanding educational and career opportunities for students in Immokalee.

Tom Driscoll

Tom Driscoll is a retired high-technology and financial services executive, most recently serving as Global Managing Director at Charles River Development, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the company from five employees to more than 1,300 before its acquisition by State Street. He continues to advise companies in the financial technology sector and serves on the Board of Trustees of Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from WPI and a master’s in computer engineering from Northeastern University.

“The students are highly committed, very focused on success, and truly thriving in The Immokalee Foundation’s programs,” Driscoll said. “Joining the Board is an opportunity to support an organization that is both highly reputable and closely aligned with my philanthropic focus area. I hope to help the Foundation expand and serve even more students through carefully managed growth.”

Kent M. Adams

Kent M. Adams is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation. He joined the company in 1979 and held various leadership roles across global finance operations. Adams served on numerous nonprofit and civic boards, including the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance from the University of Illinois and completed the Pennsylvania State University Executive Management Program.

“Immokalee Foundation students are incredibly dedicated,” Adams said. “I look forward to serving on the Board as a meaningful way to support this remarkable community and help open doors of opportunity for even more young people.”
“Tom and Kent bring exceptional leadership, vision, and heart to our Board,” said Noemi Y. Perez, President and CEO of The Immokalee Foundation. “I look forward to the expertise they will bring as we build on our successes and create even more pathways for our students to thrive.”
