Laird A. Lile reappointed to sixth term on Florida Courts Technology Commission
Laird A. Lile, a board-certified wills, trusts and estates attorney in Naples, has been appointed to a sixth term on the Florida Courts Technology Commission. An original appointee to the commission, Lile was reappointed by Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Carlos Muniz.
The Florida Courts Technology Commission was established to oversee, manage, and direct the development and use of technology within the judicial branch under the direction of the Florida Supreme Court. Commission members work together to consistently identify the best practices for using technology to benefit court users, including delivering timely information through traditional and innovative communication methods, improving the digital infrastructure of case management and establishing standards of cybersecurity for courts throughout the state.
Lile, a Top 10 Florida Super Lawyer for seven consecutive years, served nine consecutive terms on the Board of Governors for The Florida Bar. He was elected as a governor by members to represent the 20th Judicial Circuit, which includes Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties. Lile has been named to Best Lawyers in America for 27 consecutive years.
Lile is also past chair of the Second District Court of Appeal Nominating Commission. He was inducted into Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Hall of Fame in 2010. He is a past chair of the Bar’s 11,200-member Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section, as well as a Fellow and two-term past Regent and former state chair in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
