Laird A. Lile, a board-certified wills, trusts and estates attorney in Naples, presented the Probate Power Hour at the Florida Legal Education Association’s recent Probate Team seminar in Orlando, which was attended by nearly 500 judges, lawyers and paralegals.
Lile’s Probate Power Hour presentation opened the two-day seminar with information regarding timely and topical issues on practicing law as a probate and trust attorney, a summary of recent legal cases involving guardianship and elective share issues, and relevant legislation.
Lile recently was recognized for the fourth consecutive year as a Top 10 Florida Super Lawyer and as one of Florida Trend’s 500 Most Influential Business Leaders in Florida. He is serving an eighth consecutive term on the Board of Governors for The Florida Bar.
Twice appointed by the Florida Supreme Court to its Judicial Management Council and to a third term on the Florida Courts Technology Commission, Lile is past chair of the Bar’s 10,800-member Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section.
A past state chair and a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Lile was inducted into Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Hall of Fame in 2010. He recently was named to Best Lawyers in America for the 27th consecutive year.
