Langdon Lile named chair of Collier County Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Section

Langdon Lile, an associate attorney with Laird A. Lile, has been appointed chair of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Collier County Bar Association.

As chair, Lile will lead the section’s efforts to provide continuing legal education, foster professional development and facilitate collaboration among attorneys who practice in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, probate and related fields. The section also serves as a forum for attorneys to discuss developments in trusts and estates law and issues affecting practitioners and clients throughout Southwest Florida.

The Collier County Bar Association is a voluntary organization dedicated to promoting professionalism, ethics and excellence in the legal profession while serving the needs of the community through education and public service.

Lile earned his JD degree from the University of Miami and bachelor’s degree in government from the University of Virginia. Lile also received his LLM in estate planning from the University of Miami School of Law.

Lile is also a recent graduate of Class VII of the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a highly selective program that provides advanced education and mentorship for attorneys focused on trusts and estates law.
