Lasting Links Solutions announces rebrand to Senior Advocacy Group
Lasting Links Solutions has announced its rebranding to Senior Advocacy Group, a name that reinforces the company’s mission to advocate for seniors’ well-being with comprehensive life management services that integrate legal, financial, medical, emotional and social needs.
Senior Advocacy Group combines the strengths of partners Shelley Rhoads Perry, a seasoned trust and estates attorney with extensive fiduciary planning and administrative experience, and Linda Flores, a former banking executive with more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector and Florida-registered Professional Guardian. Together, they offer a full array of senior protective services, including fiduciary services, life care management, asset recovery and exploitation prevention.
“When considering all of the aspects that factor into a senior’s well-being, it can be daunting to know what to do, or how best to do it,” said Perry. “We offer a personalized, holistic approach to meet each client’s individual needs and we provide support to maintain or improve their quality of life. Through our services, we offer peace of mind for both the senior and their loved ones.”
As a professional fiduciary, Senior Advocacy Group can serve as their clients’ independent trustee, agent under a durable power of attorney, health care surrogate or personal representative for those who have no one else to protect them.
“We are dedicated advocates for our clients,” said Flores. “Whether it’s recovering thousands of dollars from deceptive online sites or appealing unfavorable Medicare decisions, we work to protect our clients’ rights and interests.”
As a public benefit corporation, Senior Advocacy Group is uniquely positioned to give back and support those in need. Perry and Flores formed Senior Safety Matters, a nonprofit organization connected to Senior Advocacy Group, to provide their services to those who cannot otherwise afford them.
“Our passion is to serve individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other debilitating cognitive conditions. In addition to our efforts through Senior Safety Matters, prior to the pandemic, we supported monthly outreach at our local Alzheimer’s Support Network, providing consultative services to caregivers planning for the future,” said Flores.
Perry and Flores also provide education outreach through the Leadership Coalition on Aging, and donate time to serve those in need at the Legal Aid Service of Collier County and Habitat for Humanity. Perry has served on the board of the Collier County Women’s Bar Association, the Leadership Coalition on Aging, and Greater Naples Leadership. She was an adjunct professor at the Ave Maria Law School, and taught its estate planning clinic. Flores, who is Spanish bilingual, was a board member and volunteer at the Neighborhood Health Clinic and a member of The Shelter Guild for Abused Women and Children.
Senior Advocacy Group is located in the Chamber building, at 2390 Tamiami Trail N., Suite 202, Naples. For more information, visit SeniorAGroup.com or call 239-206-1203.
