Local Dentist Recognized with Florida Dental Association Leadership Award

NAPLES, Fla. (July 23, 2019) – The Florida Dental Association (FDA) is proud to announce that Dr. Leo Cullinan, of Naples, was awarded the Leadership Award at the 2019 Florida Dental Convention in Orlando.

As a proud supporter of the dental profession, Dr. Cullinan has served in leadership positions at the local, district and state levels. This includes serving as president of the Collier County Dental Association and the West Coast District Dental Association and as a board member of the FDA Foundation. Dr. Cullinan also served as co-chair of the inaugural Florida Mission of Mercy event in Tampa in 2014 and as statewide Florida Mission of Mercy committee co-chair during subsequent events in Jacksonville, Pensacola, Fort Myers and Orlando. The Florida Mission of Mercy is the FDA Foundation’s annual two-day dental clinic event, which has provided more than 9,000 Floridians with donated dental care valued at more than $9 million.

Dr. Cullinan runs a private orthodontic practice in Naples and is a graduate of the Washington University Saint Louis orthodontic program and a graduate of the Creighton University dental program.
